It is with great pleasure and excitement that we can announce the full time availability of Aluminium Plate & Bar coolers exclusively manufactured by GDM Cooler Manufacturing Ltd in the UK. To compliment the existing well-established aluminium welded core product, we have focused our recent efforts on investing in the technology and training in order to allow us to bring the Aluminium Plate & Bar product to market. In doing so we can offer OEM specification replacements for oil coolers, water radiators and charge air coolers. Complete cooler packs, re-cores or singular manufactures are all products and services available.
Historically GDM have been very conscious in terms of reducing down time to an absolute minimum for compressors, static / mobile plant, commercial vehicles and general industrial machinery due to cooler failure. The GDM business model is focused on being able to react with the quickest lead teams available to the market, and we can now say this is true of the Plate & Bar product. GDM Plate & Bar can be manufactured within as little as 24 - 48hrs, offering a service that simply cannot be matched from point of enquiry to dispatch and delivery back to site for installation.
With the added bonus of being able to marine anodise and treat brazed plate and bar coolers against harsh corrosive environments, the longevity and life expectancy in service also increases offering even greater value for money. This is particularly true for the range of offshore aluminium oil coolers, water radiators and charge air coolers that GDM supply to the offshore sector, where we have seen coolers in service for up to 10 years.
In addition to the structural and heat transfer benefits of the Plate & Bar product, the value of adding this to the GDM range will only increase the confidence we will collectively gain, as manufacturer and customer, when providing the correct and most durable long lasting cooling solution to our clients.
