AC & DC Air Blown Water Cooler.
GDM’s range of AC electric air blown water coolers (GDWAC) and DC electric air blownwater coolers (GDWDC), incorporate high pressure copper tube and aluminium fin coils; as standard, making them ideal for cooling site or mains water even with fluctuating pressures.
The GDWAC ranges of air blown water coolers are fitted with low power fan/motor units with the option of single phase or 3 phase motors. All come with a duel cycle of 50Hz/60Hz as standard.
Versions with metric frame motors can be manufactured to incorporate the usual options of Eexd, ATEX approved.The GDWDC range of air blown coolers come fitted with either a compact 12 or 24 volt motor. Most sizes are fitted with long life motors which have an indicative lifetime of up to 10,000 hours, making them ideal for most mobile applications ranging from agricultural to industrial.
GDM can also manufacture to specification where there are instances of aggressive water by utilising non corroding metals such as stainless steel and titanium. Air Blown Packaged Water Coolers
Smaller models of air blown packaged water coolers can be incorporated into OEM equipment as an optional extra. However larger models can be supplied as a stand alone unit for sitting near the process.
These air blown packaged water coolers are very reliable and require very little maintenance. Being self contained units they just need filling up and switching on. All units come with a wide range of optional extras like low ambient equipment and tank level switches.
Air Blown Flat Bed Water Coolers
GDM’s air blown flat bed water coolers are a solution to open circuit cooling towers and all
their associated problems. Benefits include:
- Elimination of health risks caused by the build up of Legionella bacteria
- Reduction in maintenance costs
- Heat recovery available
GDM’s air blown flat bed water coolers incorporate high pressure copper tube and aluminium fin coils as standard along with weather proof electric motors. Other options are available including stainless steel in instances where there is aggressive water.
Units can also be supplied with pumps and header tanks for a complete recirculation system with other options including vertical radiators where floor space is limited.
